Higher-Quality Sites in Google Search Results

On Tuesday, April 24th, Google announced that they will be releasing a Panda update with the goal of “returning higher-quality sites in search results”. Their blog post: Another step to reward high-quality sites explains the update, but basically they will be further penalizing websites/pages that do not provide a great user experience, or that try to mislead visitors.

Google will begin reducing the ranking for sites/pages with keyword stuffing or link schemes.

Is the content of your page related to the actual topic of the page, or are you trying to sell something else by getting the user’s attention with the subject line? Example:

Higher Quality Results in Google Search

The best way to avoid penalties related to this algorithm change is to practice honest SEO practices.

Make sure that you aren’t penalized!

theBrewRoom ONLY practices White Hat SEO techniques! While this might be the most difficult and slowest way to the top of the Search Engine Results pages, this is the best and most honest way. Plus, your chances of getting penalized by later Google updates will be minimized. It is a lot of work, but it really pays off in the end.
